INDEPENDENT INVESTING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The internship is an unpaid program. It is designed specifically for the benefit of the students. The program runs in the summer months for a 6-week period.

PROGRAM PURPOSE

The purpose of the Internship Program is to provide practical exposure to:

  • Develop an understanding of one’s own strengths and weaknesses.

  • Discuss the student’s motivations and development goals.

  • Investing and equity research

  • Risk management and portfolio construction concepts

  • Long‑term wealth‑building principles

  • The financial advisory business and professional environment

The internship is structured as an independent educational study, not an employment role. Program expectations and learning objectives are outlined in the formal internship documentation provided to invited students.

Program components may include required reading and podcasts, written research and reflection assignments, introductory investment process development, feedback sessions with August Wealth professionals, and guest lectures by professionals in finance and financial markets.

The program emphasizes self‑directed learning and professional engagement rather than clerical or administrative tasks.
