Joseph Cardello
Principal
Joseph Cardello spent 30 years at some of the leading global financial firms in New York, London, and Asia including JPMorgan, Barclays, Moore Capital, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia advising clients, building businesses, and managing portfolios. He holds an M.A. in Economics from New York University and a B.S. in Finance from Merrimack College.
Joe is passionate about helping others through coaching, mentoring, and charitable work. He spent 13 years as Chair of the Finance Council at Assumption Church in Westport, CT, He currently serves on the Board of Advisors at the Girard School of Business at Merrimack College, and he previously served on Merrimack’s College Leadership Council. He is a supporter of many local charities including Staples Tuition Grants. He manages the Augustus Cardello Memorial Scholarship which supports scholarships for students in financial need. Joseph and his wife Michelle raised their three children in London, England and Westport, CT.

Peter Grave
Director/Financial Advisor
Peter Grave began his career as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and most recently was Corporate Client Group Director at Morgan Stanley. He helps business professionals and families navigate important changes in their work and life circumstances. Peter is passionate about empowering families to be confident in all aspects of their finance and investments through proper planning, strategy, and simplification of complex concepts.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado. He is active with the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA Alumni Council. Peter and his wife are raising their 2 young children in Weston, CT.
Christina George
Director of Operations and Client Services
Christina began her career as a Banker with Bank of America and has spent 23 years in the financial, investments, lending, insurance, and retail fields. She is responsible for the direction and coordination of the firm and creates processes and develops systems to support financial professions in their day-to-day operations, while providing outstanding client services. Christina holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Urban Studies with concentrations in Urban Design, Planning and Management from San Diego State University.
Christina is passionate about helping people and providing support through mentoring, leadership, and charitable work. She volunteers with the International Rescue Committee, Allies to End Detention, as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Scouts BSA, and the Canyon Hills High School Foundation. She loves to backpack, travel, and cook. Christina is raising her son in San Diego, CA.
Howard Greenberg
Financial Advisor
Howard Greenberg has spent 31 years building financial market relationships with Royal Bank of Scotland, BNP Paribas and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He was tasked with building relationships; advising clients by understanding their needs and assisting them in growing their businesses. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Northeastern University.
Howard has spent a number of years on the board of youth sports organizations and his local Temple, always with the goal of creating a sense of positivity and progress. He spends much of his free time coaching, in fitness activity, or volunteering in the community. Howard and his wife Mindy raised their three children in Livingston, NJ.
Conor Keenan
Associate
Conor Keenan began working as an intern at August Wealth Advisors in the summer of 2020 and has since joined the team full time as an Associate in August 2021. Conor is a recent graduate of Purdue University where he obtained his B.S. in Financial Counseling and Planning. He is currently rotating through the August Wealth Graduate Training Program, and he is working towards his Certified Financial Planner certification.
Through his time at Purdue, Conor learned how to assess the risk tolerance of a client and develop a portfolio to match, He participated in the financial planning club where he created holistic financial plans, and he learned about the importance of sticking to a financial plan in order to grow wealth. Conor created savings and investing models that help remove emotion from the wealth building process.
Conor spends his free time traveling with family and friends, teaching youth sports, and playing golf on weekends. He lives in Westport, CT
Ashley Fox
Contracted Investment Research Specialist
Ashley is experienced in quantitative analysis, risk, and portfolio construction across a wide variety of asset classes. He spent 27 years at some of the leading global investment and fund management firms. He started his career at Barclays Capital in 1997 in their graduate training program. He went on to senior portfolio manager and trading roles at Tudor Capital, JPMorgan, Standard Chartered Bank, and Infinity Capital Markets.
He holds a BSc in Physics from Manchester University in The United Kingdom. He is currently engaged in course work in corporate finance and valuation techniques, and he is also completing a BSc degree in Statistics at the Open University in the United Kingdom.
He currently resides with his wife and daughter in the Village of Beech, in Hampshire, England. He enjoys sailing, reading, and hiking in the countryside.
